We request for Cloud Service Principals to participate directly for this RFP, and not through a SI/ partner. We prefer to engage all our Cloud Services through our designated cloud provider for better leverages amongst our cloud subscription, but you may nominate a partner if you deem it necessary.

Since we request to engage with Cloud Service Principals directly, we will instead conduct a RFP and do away with the formalities of a tender so as not to convolute the process unnecessarily. Nevertheless, we shall still disseminate our requirement documents through our tender portal for ease of administration, and for the Cloud Service Principals to submit their proposition through our tender portal. The link to our tender portal shall be provided in our RFP invitation.

We remain completely agnostic to any cloud providers, however to better illustrate our requirements, we are using AWS resources to arbitrarily represent our proposed design architecture and technology stack which we have assessed should meet our requirements adequately. Nonetheless, I emphasize that we retain no inclination for AWS whatsoever, only that it is a commonly understood technology and it does not pose any inherent bias to our existing systems as none are on AWS.
